NEW Gentex GENK332 Auto-dimming Mirror with 3.3" Hi-Definition Rear camera Display / Auto UPDATE ONLINE SHOPPING!!!...
This is the NEW Gentex 3.3" RCD Video Mirror. The 3.3" display is the clearest and brightest yet. The 16:9 wide view gives a precise image of what is behind your vehicle. When paired with a backup camera the display shows a real-time panoramic view of the rear of the vehicle. The display appears through the mirror glass automatically when the vehicle is shifted into "reverse" it disappears when the vehicle is shifted into any other gear.Safety and Convenience* - From a safety perspective, the Rear Camera Display Mirror should help reduce the risk of backup accidents, especially for vehicles with limited rear vision. Another benefit is the convenience associated with hooking up to boats, RVs and utility trailers. Other Benefits - For car dealers, the Gentex video display technology is quick-to-market, easy to install and service, relatively low cost, and offers a seamless enhancement to the auto-dimming rearview mirror. *Please note that the video display mirror is intended to be used as a supplemental device for drivers and does not eliminate the need to check rearview mirrors or walk around the vehicle, should conditions warrant. When it comes to backing up safely, nothing beats walking around the vehicle prior to moving it. THIS ITEM IS THE VIDEO MIRROR ONLY. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE A CAMERA. WE HAVE THOSE AVAILABLE SEPARATELY..../ NEW Gentex GENK332 Auto-dimming Mirror with 3.3" Hi-Definition Rear camera Display / Auto

Eliminate dangerous glare from the vehicles traveling behind you with an Gentex rearview mirror. It detects glare and automatically dims to preserve driver vision and make nighttime driving safer. The brighter the glare, the darker the mirror becomes. An *ICE indicator will display for one minute when the temperature is at or below 37 degrees. This feature cautions you to anticipate road-icing conditions. Compass and external temperature readouts also ensure that while you are driving safer you are also driving smarter. This mirror also has three HomeLink buttons. About HomeLink :: activates RF-controlled garage door openers :: operates RF-controlled lighting, gates, entry door locks, and more :: can be easily programmed to meet your needs for security, efficiency, and convenience..../ Gentex GENK51a Auto dimming mirror with HomeLink, temperature and compass / Auto

Excellent Mirror & Easy to Install : Gentex GENK51a Auto dimming mirror with HomeLink, temperature and compass
I was a little nervous about how difficult this mirror was going to be to install. While you do need to be able to follow instructions, comfortable removing automotive interior panels/trim, and snaking wires I found it to be really easy to install on my Nissan Titan. It went in quickly and everything worked the first time. You will need a voltmeter/wire tester in order to make the wiring connections.
There are two power wires you have to connect. The wire the instructions tell you to connect to a constant on power wire provides power to the Homelink function. (They don't tell you this in the instructions I had to figure it out on my own).
The reason this is important is that if some criminal breaks into your vehicle they also have access to your garage too if the Homelink function has power all the time. I only wanted the Homelink buttons to work when the truck key is turned on. (Makes it harder for the criminal element). Others may not care, but I did and it would have been simpler if the Gentex instructions told you and let you pick how you want to connect the wires.
I like the mirror and now that I know how easy it was to install that I'm going to buy another one and install it in my Suzuki Grand Vitara.
